Students at a Middlesbrough school have recognised local volunteers during National Volunteers’ Week. °Ù´ºÁ´ Academy Ormesby in Middlesbrough, welcomed volunteers from different organisations to the school to thank them for their contributions to the local community.

°Ù´ºÁ´ Academy Hasland Hall has achieved the School Mental Health Award which is delivered by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools. The academy was awarded a Gold standard for its outstanding mental health and wellbeing provision.

Hisain Marzug, 15, has topped the leaderboard for April in a worldwide school language competition.
